FreeNumber: your free VoIP line
FreeNumber is a free phone line using Voice Over IP technology with a phone number to receive calls from any phone in the world.
You can choose a new phone number with an area code at your choice in Italy and in some foreign countries. Service will be activated immediately.

Easy and mobile
Don't change your habits: a VoIP phone is a phone. With MessagenetMobile you can use VoIP also on your "Nokia" or "Iphone 3G" mobile and with CallMeWeb you can make calls directly from a PC, wherever you have an Internet connection.Requirements
To start making and receiving calls you will need:
- a FLAT broadband Internet connection
and, at your choice:
- our CallMeWeb webphone (a dedicated page on Messagenet website, with no need of configuration). You can use it with a microphone and an audio-set;
- a VoIP software that you can use on your PC or Mac with an microphone and an audio-set;
- a VoIP software that you can use on your smartphone;
- if you connect to the Internet through an Ethernet router, you can use:
- an appropriate adapter to connect your actual phone, even a cordless, to the network
- a real IP phone
- a SIP compatible IP switchboard (IP PBX)
The adapters and IP phones provided by Messagenet are already configured: you only have to connect and use them.
To use our VoIP service as a voicemail only you will need: a PC, your e-mail and an Internet connection.

As a FreeNumber user you get a support service via email.Conditions and limitations of use:
If you subscribe to FreeNumber after November 15th 2009, you can upgrade to SmartNumber keeping your phone number. With SmartNumber you get a customizable voicemail service that you can use from any phone and the automatic responder (IVR) to configure the call forwarding and the voicemail. Only one FreeNumber per person and/or company and/or email address.
No more than two calls at the same time are allowed.
FreeNumber must be used at least once per month to make paid calls or to receive calls. Otherwise, Messagenet reserves the right to deactivate the service.
